KLAUSUR.AT is a free web app for strategy retreats, leadership workshops, board meetings and team offsites. The facilitator creates a digital session room in seconds; everyone else joins with their smartphone via QR code – no account, no app.

Instead of isolated tools, KLAUSUR.AT covers the whole journey of a retreat: collect ideas, vote, prioritise by impact and effort, record decisions and export an action plan with owners.

What is KLAUSUR.AT?

KLAUSUR.AT is a free web app for strategy retreats, workshops and meetings. Facilitators create a digital session room without signing up; participants join via QR code, link or six-digit code and collaborate live: collecting ideas (brainstorming), voting (live voting, dot voting), prioritising by impact and effort (priority matrix) and recording decisions and actions.

Is KLAUSUR.AT really free?

Yes. All features are free – no subscription, no trial period and no ads. There is no paid version.

Do participants need an account or an app?

No. KLAUSUR.AT runs in the browser on smartphones, tablets and laptops. Neither facilitators nor participants need an account, an email address or an app installation. Names are optional.

How many people can take part in a session?

Up to 500 people per session. Typical uses are leadership workshops, board retreats and team offsites with 5 to 50 participants.

Which voting types are available?

Single choice (one answer), multiple choice (several answers up to a maximum) and dot voting, where each person distributes a fixed budget of points across several proposals. Duplicate votes are technically prevented; results can stay hidden until the facilitator releases them.

How does the priority matrix work?

Everyone rates each proposal by impact and effort on a scale of 1 to 5. The averages form a four-quadrant matrix with quick wins (high impact, low effort), strategic projects, fill-ins and low-priority proposals. Prioritised proposals can be moved into the action plan with one click.

Can I export the results?

Yes. At the end you get a print-ready results report with decisions, actions, prioritisation, voting results and collected ideas that can be saved as a PDF. Individual tables such as the action plan can also be exported as CSV for Excel.

Where is the data stored and when is it deleted?

Content is stored on servers in the EU. Every session is deleted completely and automatically 30 days after it was created; the facilitator can delete it immediately at any time. There are no tracking cookies; anonymous, cookieless visitor statistics only run with consent.

How is KLAUSUR.AT different from Miro, Mural or Mentimeter?

KLAUSUR.AT is deliberately lean: not an infinite whiteboard and not presentation software, but one continuous flow from idea to vote, prioritisation and action plan. The tools are connected, no accounts are needed and it is free to use.

Is KLAUSUR.AT available in English?

Yes. The interface is available in German and English. Each person chooses their own language – even within the same session.
